| Grade 4 Science Experiment 4 - "The Color Removing Properties of Bleach"

Purpose:
The purpose of this science fair project is to determine the strength of a solution based on the amount of bleach it takes to remove the color from the solution. The solution will consist of water mixed with a specific strength of food coloring. (ie. One drop, two drops, three drops of food coloring and so on.)
Note: Adult supervision is required due to the hazardous nature of bleach.
Hypothesis:
The strongest food coloring/water solution requires the largest amount of bleach.
Variables:
- Number of drops of food coloring and bleach
Materials Needed:
- Food Color in red, blue, green, and yellow
- Bleach
- Water
- Twenty four clear plastic cups
- Five droppers
- Masking Tape
- Permanent Black Marker
- Pencil
- Paper
- Graph Paper
